The students who are going to improve their cbse examination in 2013 received a letter from cbse stating that they need to appear for all five papers if they are planning to appear for IIT JEE exam 2013.This letter is as per the new criteria for eligibility in appearing for iit examination from 2013.
Students can appear for improvement in cbse exam but they need to appear for all papers inorder to become eligible for iit entrance examination.The letter received created confusion among student whether they need to improve all subjects or dont need to improve.
The reason why this rule is been created is that from 2013 onward,12th board exam marks are counted along with the jee examination in for counting the final marks.So improvement can decrease the chances of students who are not appearing for improvement.
